i.             Values of teaching Social Science

ii.            Importance of pedagogical Analysis

iii.           Meaning of curriculum of Social Science

iv.           Grading system of Evaluation.

UNIT-I

2. Explain the meaning. Nature and scope of Social Science. 4,4,8

3. Explain the following in details: 8,8

(a)          Aims and objectives of Teaching Social Science at School level.

(b)          Correlation of Social Sciences with Natural Sciences.

 

UNIT-II

4. Write meaning and steps of Pedagogical Analysis and do Pedagogical Analysis on the topic “Disaster Management”.  4,4,8

5. Explain need ,importance and basic elements of lesson plan with example. 4,4,8

UNIT-III

6. Discuss concentric and chronological approaches of organizing social sciences curriculum.            8,8

7. Write meaning of stimulus variation skill illustrate the process of development various components of this skill through a micro-lesson. 16

UNIT-IV

8. Explain the following in detail: 8,8

(a)          Discussion method

(b)          Story telling method

9.  Explain meaning, importance and types of evaluation in social science teaching. 4,4,8
